While music has long been an integral part of Christian events, concerts, and church services, dance is a relative newcomer on the scene. As the visual expression of music, dance tells powerful stories and inspires worship. Carolyn Currey, Canadian professional ballet and worship dancer, has brought this art form to a high level in the service of God.
"Those who have the privilege of seeing her dance know instantly that her craft is the means by which she expresses worship to her God--and then leads others to that place also," says recording artist Debbie Fortnum. "Her worship dancing is simply breathtaking." In an article in the Niagara Falls Review, Rev. John James described the effect of Carolyn's ministry: "We had seen beauty first hand in the fluid movement of the dance and we celebrated God's presence among us."

As a dancer, Carolyn has reached the highest level of training in the worldwide Royal Academy of Dance. She is also a certified teacher with the RAD. Even more than technical excellence, though, her heart is to serve God. She has elected to use her art to glorify God and spread the gospel.
